Our Story

At Anchored and Connected, everything starts with friendship.

We’re two best friends who met at Tabor Academy and bonded through a shared love of the water, community, and the joy of knowing someone always has your back.

From the start, we have been seeking opportunities to give back in ways that encapsulated our shared values of the power of friendship and the importance of making people feel seen, supported, and never alone.

Inspired by the strong communities we’ve been a part of we wanted to create something of our own. A space where everyone can feel included, connected, and proud. That’s what inspired Anchored & Connected.

Our handcrafted friendship bracelets aren’t just fun to make but are also a meaningful way to connect. Every bracelet is a reminder that you’re anchored to someone beyond just yourself. A symbol of strength, love, and belonging connecting us all.

Here’s how it works:
You make two bracelets—one to keep, and one to give to someone in need of a friend. Then, you send your custom bracelet to us at Anchored & Connected PO Box 664, Mattapoisett, MA 02739, and we will carefully select a recipient and deliver it that new member of our community.

These bracelets are more than just thread and beads—they’re a tangible representation of an everlasting bond. We have seen firsthand how life-changing a quality friendship can be and we to bring that same feeling to others.

Andie Derrig

Caroline Calista

Andie is a senior at Tabor Academy with a passion for giving back and uplifting others. Some of her hobbies include playing volleyball, reading, and spending time at the beach. Andie also enjoys learning about business and entrepreneurship. She is so excited to be apart of Anchored & Connected and hopes you are too.

Caroline Calista

Caroline is a senior Tabor Academy and is excited to make the most of her life in the years to come. Strongly interested in giving back to her community, she hopes to pursue a career in medicine where she can devote herself to a life of both healing and service to others. You can find her catching a sunset on the rowing docks or watching Friends on repeat with Andie.
